St. Joseph's College, an autonomous college, established in 1844 by the Fathers of Society of Jesus, is affiliated to Bharathidasan University and acquired it’s A+ status by NAAC in 2006. This college is proud of its ex-students who are now geniuses and world know personalities. To name some of them is our former President of India, Dr. A.P.J.
